Ciara received her New Year gift, When Missy Elliott's, 'Lose Control' won her first Grammy Award for "Best Short Form Music Video". She also won the 2005 BET Award for best collaboration for her hit song '1, 2, Step' from "Goodies" video featuring Missy Elliot.
The Princess of a new genre singing style, Ciara released her second album in 2006, "Ciara: The Evolution". A sort of personal biography, the album speaks of her public life and her celebrity status. The album "Ciara: The Evolution" became a number one sellout surpassing even her debut album, "Goodies". The super hit singles include, 'Promise', 'Get Up', 'Like a Boy' and 'My Love' had melodiously captured the hearts of millions of fans.

Ciara made her acting debut in MTV Films, "All You've Got" and played the role of Becca Watley, the queen bee of high school volleyball team - the Little Madonnas and starred opposite Adrienne Bailon and Efren Ramirez.
